6th May 2011

We warmed up by playing a mime game with a song but we mime as the band. Today we practice the Munez and his Dad in the principle office scene. I was in it, and Bibil acted out as my dad. The weird thing is that, Bibil acts as a parent from China, and Me (as a student) is adopted by Bibil's character and I am Hispanic. Well it went well, but we still need work on it with the accents and us trying not to laugh because  of Bibil's accent. Today, we didn't show Ms. Carol the scene because i think we ran out of time.

Today, we practice the lunch time scene where we do the food fight. We go through the story line together, then we practice again and again so we can show Ms. Carol in the end again. Everybody had a very creative idea. We used a slow mo act for the start of the food fight. At the end we showed Ms. Carol, and she loved it. But she still gives some advice and changes thats good. We can follow it or just used the same one. Today's team work was a bit rough, because some people wasn't listening to Eunice.

2nd May 2011

Today we practice the detention scene again because we didn't do good progress last time. This is the script that i made... So i have to help Eunice to direct the scene. Then after we got the scene going, we practice it again and again. Like usual, we showed Ms. Carol. Shockingly, she didn't get involved today. She saw it and she loved it. So today was great, everybody gives out ideas for the play, and everybody work together fine.

29th April 2011

Today we practice more on our scenes. We practice the class room scene again. Miss Caro didn't help us, but then we have to show it to her. Miss Carol said that our characters are so much horrible to the teacher until she has sympathy for the teacher character. Our practise was really good for our kind of play. Today was great, good improvization and also good teamwork.

28th April 2011

Today, we did our first rehearsal. We practice the Class room scene and also the going to principal office scene. At first we warm up by playing a game that is really fun. Then we start practicing. Since we are using improvisation method, we have to think quick for the actions. Eunice tells us what to do at first because she is the only one who has the script and she is the producer. We tell us what to do and we improvise on the action we do. For the first practice, we did the principle's office scene. We line up all the chairs and set up the stage, we choose which way is the audience and which character sits where. We did this so we can fit the characters connection. Then we practice the class room scene. Same with it the Class room scene.

15th April 2011

Today, we focused on the making of the script. But first we have to make the connection of each characters, so each scripts' characters are the same. For example, A hates B, so in the other scripts, A also hates B, not A are friends with B... (get it? kinda hard to explain).

Character:

  • Dave (David): a Jock/bully in school.
  • Clarney (Clayton): a Playboy in school.
  • Principle (Abigail): Principle of the school.
  • Mr. Krustin (Yu Lee): a nosey Teacher, no students like him.
  • Britney (Reina): the girl who doesn't really pay attention in school, because she's academically slow.
  • Munez (Gabe/Me): a nice guy, but because he hangs with Dave, he is also a bully. He is the one who keeps getting in trouble.
  • Torri (Bryna): a gossiper in school, slightly bitchy and bossy.
  • Terserah (Tio): she Torri's minion. (PAPOY!) 
Then, we made profiles for our character, so we can give other students and they can write the scripts correctly.
